A balanced way to understand ADHD neurotransmitters
Dopamine and norepinephrine help explain why ADHD can affect attention, motivation, impulse control, and alertness. They do not provide a complete explanation of every symptom, and routine blood tests cannot reliably measure neurotransmitter activity in the brain.
